This nonprofit is a dedication to my brother Malcolm "Mack" Parson who was a quadriplegic due to a motor accident.

He was involved in a car accident at the age of 24 on November 20,2015. This accident forever changed his life because he suffered a CS spinal cord injury. Yet, he was such a loving and kind person despite the challenges he faced. Unfortunately, he did not have an extensive network of people to help with his daily care. He also did not get invited to very many outings after he was hurt. This resulted in him spending loads of time alone without regular social activities to look forward to.

However, he never stopped being compassionate and genuinely wanted what was best for others despite his lack of support. He would give what little he had to help anyone he could. Even after he was hurt, he would send money to other people who were hurt also. He even asked me (his sister) not to pay his cell phone bill once, to donate those funds to another young girl involved in a car accident from our home town. Even when he was extremely sick in the hospital, his wish was to make sure that those he loved were okay. He passed on his birthday on August 4,2024 at the age of 33. As a result I (his sister) knew the world still needed his light.

His life was hard yet inspiring because of his faith, determination and positive outlook on life. This nonprofit will strive to ultimately be the beacon of hope that he was to so many people. Each act of service will be done with the spirit of Mack's empathy, dedication to knowledgeable care, and tenacity all while displaying infectious positivity.
